Summary
MOXIETHIX™-PD is a combination ophthalmic formulation containing Moxifloxacin, a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic, and Prednisolone Acetate, a potent corticosteroid.
The product is designed to provide dual action—effective control of ocular bacterial infections along with rapid reduction of inflammation, redness, pain, and edema associated with eye disorders or post-operative conditions.

Usage

Wash hands before application.

Avoid touching dropper tip to any surface.

Remove contact lenses before instillation; reinsert after 15 minutes if permitted by doctor.

Keep eyes closed for 1–2 minutes after use for better absorption.
Concerns

Prolonged steroid use may increase intra-ocular pressure or risk of glaucoma.

May mask signs of fungal or viral infections.

Not effective against viral eye infections such as herpes simplex.

Known hypersensitivity to fluoroquinolones or corticosteroids

Viral, fungal, or tubercular eye infections

Corneal ulcer without medical supervision

Warnings

Use under medical supervision in patients with glaucoma.

Long-term use requires monitoring of IOP.

Avoid use with soft contact lenses.

Pregnancy and lactation – use only if clearly needed and advised by doctor.

Dosage

Instill 1–2 drops in the affected eye 3–4 times daily or as directed by the ophthalmologist.

Interactions

Concurrent use with NSAID eye drops may delay corneal healing
