Summary

Usage

  • Take orally with or without food

  • Best taken at the same time daily for consistent benefit

  • For antibiotic-associated diarrhea, administer preferably 2-3 hours apart from antibiotics

  • Reduced efficacy if taken with hot drinks or alcohol

When not to use?

 

  • Known hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation

  • Severely immunocompromised patients (e.g., post-organ transplant, HIV/AIDS) unless advised by a physician

  • Critically ill or hospitalized patients without medical supervision

  • Patients with short bowel syndrome (consult physician)

Warnings

  • Do not exceed recommended dose

  • Consult a physician before use in pregnant or breastfeeding women

  • Discontinue use and seek medical attention if severe allergic reaction (rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, breathing difficulty) occurs

  • Keep out of reach of children

Dosage

  • Adults: 1-2 capsules per day or as directed by the physician

  • Children (above 6 years): As directed by the physician

  • Duration: As recommended; commonly 7–14 days or longer depending on indication

Interactions

  • Avoid taking simultaneously with hot beverages or alcohol (may reduce probiotic viability)

  • If on antibiotics, space doses by at least 2–3 hours

  • No significant drug interactions reported with commonly used medications, but consult physician if on immunosuppressants

General Instructions

  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight

  • Refrigeration is recommended if specified on the label

  • Do not use expired capsules

  • Swallow capsule whole with water; do not crush or chew

  • For best results, complete the full course even if symptoms resolve early
