Esomeprazole 40mg is used to treat conditions where there is too much acid in the stomach. Esomeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by decreasing the amount of acid that is produced by the stomach.Domperidone30mg SR is a medicine that increases the movements or contractions of the stomach and bowel. Domperidone is also used to treat nausea and vomiting caused by other drugs used to treat Parkinsons Disease. This medicine is available both over-the-counter (OTC) and with your doctor?s prescription. The inclusion of "SR" indicates that the formulation is designed for sustained release, meaning the medication is released slowly over time, offering a prolonged therapeutic effect and potentially reducing the frequency of dosing. To use the capsule: Swallow the capsule whole. Do not crush or chew it. If the capsule cannot be swallowed, open it and sprinkle the contents on one tablespoonful of applesauce. Swallow the mixture right away. Do not chew or crush the granules.

Common Side Effects: Dry mouth Headache Dizziness Abdominal cramps breast pain/tenderness, rash, pruritus, diarrhea, somnolence, or loss of libido

• For the treatment of GERD and acid reflux.
• Relief from nausea and vomiting due to gastrointestinal disorders.
• Supportive treatment for delayed gastric emptying.

Do not use ETHZOLE - DSR if:

• You are allergic to Esomeprazole, Domperidone, or any other component of the capsule.
• You have a history of severe kidney or liver impairment.
• You have gastrointestinal bleeding, obstruction, or perforation.
• You have a prolonged QT interval or severe electrolyte imbalances.

• Pregnancy: Consult a doctor before use.
• Breastfeeding: May pass into breast milk; use only under medical supervision.
• Children: Not recommended for use in pediatric patients unless prescribed by a healthcare provider.
• Liver/Kidney Disorders: Dosage adjustments may be required.

Esomeprazole may cause a serious type of allergic reaction when used in patients with conditions treated with antibiotics. Call your doctor right away if you or your child has itching, trouble breathing or swallowing, or any swelling of your hands, face, or mouth. Taking this medicine for a long time may make it harder for your body to absorb vitamin B12. Tell your doctor if you have concerns about vitamin B12 deficiency. Serious stomach conditions may occur while taking this medicine alone or together with antibiotics. Check with your doctor immediately This medicine may cause hypomagnesemia (low magnesium in the blood). This is more likely to occur if you are using this medicine for more than one year, or if you are using it together with digoxin (Lanoxin?) or certain diuretics (water pills).

• Standard Dose: One capsule daily before meals or as directed by the physician.
• Missed Dose: Take it as soon as you remember unless it is close to the next dose. Do not double dose.
• Overdose: Seek immediate medical attention if overdosed.

ETHZOLE - DSR may interact with:

• Antacids: May reduce the efficacy of the capsule.
• Clopidogrel: Can reduce the antiplatelet effect.
• Ketoconazole or Itraconazole: May decrease the absorption of these antifungal agents.
• Warfarin: May increase bleeding risk.
  Inform your doctor about all medications you are taking.

• Take the capsule whole, without breaking or chewing it.
• Administer on an empty stomach for optimal absorption.
• Adhere to the prescribed course for effective results.
• Avoid self-medication or abrupt discontinuation without consulting a healthcare provider.
