Combining the actions of an antibiotic (ofloxacin), antiprotozoal (ornidazole), antifungal (itraconazole), and a potent corticosteroid (clobetasol propionate), it offers a synergistic approach to managing complicated dermal infections with inflammatory components.

Usage

Clean and dry the affected area before application.

Apply a thin layer of ETHROFLOX™ PLUS Ointments over the affected area 1–2 times daily or as directed by the physician.

Do not cover with occlusive dressings unless advised.

Wash hands thoroughly after use.
Concerns

Avoid use on the face for long durations.

Not recommended for use in children under 12 without medical advice.

Prolonged use may lead to resistance or steroid-induced skin damage.

Do not apply near eyes, mouth, or mucous membranes.
When not to use?

Known hypersensitivity to any of the components

Viral skin infections (herpes, varicella)

Tuberculous or syphilitic skin lesions

Acne vulgaris, rosacea, perioral dermatitis

Open wounds or ulcerative skin conditions without physician supervision
Warnings
ETHROFLOX™ PLUS Ointments For external use only; avoid ingestion or contact with eyes.

Do not use for longer than prescribed to avoid skin damage.

Avoid abrupt discontinuation after prolonged use—taper under medical advice.
Dosage

Apply thinly over affected area once or twice daily depending on severity, or as prescribed.

Interactions
ETHROFLOX™ PLUS OintmentsAvoid combining with other topical corticosteroids or antifungals without doctor’s advice.

Systemic absorption is minimal, but caution is advised in patients on systemic corticosteroids, antifungals, or quinolone antibiotics.
General Instructions
