Summary
CLOELITE-P TABLETS is a medicine that consists of Aceclofenac and Paracetamol. CLOELITE-P TABLETS is used to treat pain, stiffness, and swelling at joints due to ankylosing spondylitis (a condition causing pain due to fusing of bones in the spine), osteoarthritis (a type of arthritis that causes pain on movement due to wearing of the protective covering at the ends of the bones) and rheumatoid arthritis (a condition where the body's immunity attacks the joints and damages it).
CLOELITE-P TABLETS is also used to get relief from headaches, toothaches, backaches, menstrual pain, sprains, and strains. This medicine blocks the release of a chemical that causes pain and swelling.
CLOELITE-P TABLETS shows side effects like nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, loss of appetite, and diarrhoea. Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to it. CLOELITE-P TABLETS may also cause dizziness and drowsiness. Do not drive or operate machines if you feel drowsy or dizzy after taking this medicine.
CLOELITE-P TABLETS can be taken with food, milk, or an antacid to avoid stomach irritation. CLOELITE-P TABLETS relieves pain and swelling due to arthritic conditions but does not cure it. Do not self-medicate or use it beyond the prescribed duration.
CLOELITE-P TABLETS should be used with caution if you have a history of stomach or intestinal bleeding, asthma, and severe heart, liver and kidney problems. Inform your doctor if you have a history of any medical conditions and also your current/previous medication. This medicine may affect the development of your foetus. If you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or a breastfeeding mother, consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

Rheumatoid Arthritis
Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) happens when your body's immune system attacks the lining of your joints causes swelling and pain at joints. In RA the same joints on both sides of the body are affected. This helps to distinguish RA from osteoarthritis. CLOELITE-P TABLETS is used to relieve swelling and pain in the joints due to RA.
Osteoarthritis
Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common form of arthritis. It occurs when the protective cartilage that cushions the ends of your bones wears down over time. CLOELITE-P TABLETS is used to relieve pain and stiffness due to osteoarthritis.
Ankylosing Spondylitis
Ankylosing spondylitis (AS) is a type of arthritis that primarily affects the spine and causes some of the small bones to fuse. It begins in the lower back spine and can pass up to the neck. CLOELITE-P TABLETS is used to relieve stiffness and pain (especially in the lower back, hip, and pelvis) associated with ankylosing spondylitis.

Allergy

Kidney damage
A long term use and higher doses of some painkillers may harm normal kidney function. CLOELITE-P TABLETS is not recommended if you have kidney problems associated with the excessive use of painkillers. Ask your doctor/pharmacist how this medicine affects your kidney function.
Severe liver disease
Avoid using CLOELITE-P TABLETS if you have liver problem. This medicine gets converted to its active form in the liver. If you take this medicine, more active forms can accumulate and damage your liver.
Gastrointestinal bleeding
CLOELITE-P TABLETS is not recommended for use in individuals with gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation disorders since it may worsen the condition.

Heart surgery
Do not use CLOELITE-P TABLETS for relieving pain after heart surgery.
Skin rash
CLOELITE-P TABLETS may cause serious skin allergies. These events may be severe in rare cases. Signs and symptoms like rashes, hives, fever, or other allergic symptoms should be reported to your doctor immediately. The treatment should be discontinued if these symptoms appear.
Bleeding disorders
CLOELITE-P TABLETS may prolong the blood clotting time and therefore increase the risk of bleeding. Use it cautiously if you have bleeding or clotting defects such as haemophilia (a genetic blood disorder in which the blood does not clot properly), vitamin K deficiency, and hypoprothrombinemia (a condition characterized by a deficiency of blood clotting substance prothrombin).
Driving or operating machinery
CLOELITE-P TABLETS may cause sleepiness or dizziness. Avoid driving vehicles and operate heavy machines after taking this medicine.
Dosage
Missed Dose
If you forgot to take a dose of CLOELITE-P TABLETS, take it as soon as you remember. However, if the time for your next dose is near, skip the missed dose. Do not double the dose to make up for the missed one.
Overdose
Never take CLOELITE-P TABLETS more than the prescribed dose. If you suspect that you might have taken an overdose of this medicine, go to the emergency department of your local hospital.

Long term use of CLOELITE-P TABLETS can damage your stomach and intestine. Any symptom indicating ulceration and bleeding like chronic indigestion, the appearance of coffee coloured dry blood in stools or blood vomiting should be reported immediately to your doctor.
Heart Disease
Long-term use of CLOELITE-P TABLETS may increase the risk of a heart attack if you have pre-existing heart conditions. It is not used for treating pain after coronary bypass surgery.
