PARETHIX-P TAB is a carefully formulated medication designed to provide comprehensive relief from symptoms associated with the common cold, allergies, and sinusitis. It combines the decongestant effect of Phenylephrine, the analgesic and antipyretic properties of Paracetamol, and the antihistamine action of Cetirizine, ensuring effective management of nasal congestion, fever, pain, and allergic reactions.

• Common: Nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, drowsiness, headache.
• Rare: Allergic reactions, increased blood pressure, palpitations.

PARETHIX-P TABLETS is used to relieve symptoms associated with:

• Common cold and seasonal allergies
• Sinus congestion
• Headache, fever, and minor aches
• Nasal congestion and runny nose
• Sneezing and watery eyes

• Drowsiness: Cetirizine may cause drowsiness; avoid driving or operating heavy machinery until you know how PARETHIX-P affects you.
• Alcohol consumption: Avoid alcohol as it can increase drowsiness and affect liver function when taking Paracetamol.
• High blood pressure: Use with caution if you have hypertension, as Phenylephrine HCl can elevate blood pressure.

Do not use PARETHIX-P TABLETS if you have:

• Known allergy to Paracetamol, Phenylephrine, Cetirizine, or any other components of the medication
• Severe liver or kidney impairment
• High blood pressure (hypertension) that is not well-controlled
• A history of narrow-angle glaucoma

• Pregnancy and breastfeeding: Consult a doctor before use, as components in PARETHIX-P may not be safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
• Other medications: Avoid taking PARETHIX-P with other medications containing Paracetamol to prevent overdose.
• Driving: Avoid driving or other tasks requiring alertness, as the drug may cause drowsiness.
• Long-term use: Prolonged use is not recommended without consulting a healthcare provider, as it may increase the risk of side effects.

• Adults and children over 12 years: As prescribed by the healthcare provider.
• Children under 12 years: Dosage should be determined by the physician based on age and weight.

• Antihypertensive drugs: Phenylephrine may interfere with blood pressure medications, reducing their efficacy.
• Antihistamines: Using other sedative antihistamines can increase drowsiness.
• Alcohol: Increases the sedative effects and risks of liver damage with Paracetamol.
• MAO inhibitors: Avoid if taking MAO inhibitors (or within 14 days of stopping), as they can intensify the effects of Phenylephrine.

• Take PARETHIX-P TABLETS with a full glass of water.
• Avoid consuming alcohol while taking this medication.
• Do not exceed the recommended dosage, as it may increase the risk of side effects.
• Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
• Keep out of reach of children.
