It is used in conditions like athlete's foot (itchy white patches between the toes), jock itch (red, itchy and ring shapes rash around the groin), ringworm (red, itchy, circular-shaped rash with clear skin in the middle), diaper rash, etc. This medicine treats the infection by damaging the protective layer of the fungus.

Clotrimazole 1% Dusting Powder shows some side effects like redness, skin irritation, itching and swelling at the site of application. Most of these side effects are temporary and get resolved with time. However, if any of these side effects do not resolve with time or worsen, seek a doctor's consultation at the earliest. Avoid the use of Clotrimazole 1% Dusting Powder if you are allergic to it.

Clotrimazole 1% Dusting Powder should be dusted uniformly in and around the affected area. Clean and pat dry the affected area before using this medicine.
