Summary

ETHOgermina™ is an oral suspension containing Bacillus clausii spores, a well-studied probiotic used to restore and maintain gut microflora balance. It is particularly effective in managing diarrhea, antibiotic-associated diarrhea, and gut dysbiosis. Bacillus clausii survives harsh gastric conditions, reaches the intestine alive, and helps restore the normal gut flora disrupted by infections, antibiotics, or gastrointestinal diseases.

ETHOgermina™ is generally well tolerated.
Possible mild side effects:

Usage

  • Shake the bottle well before use.

Concerns

  • Ensure correct storage at room temperature (do not refrigerate or freeze).

  • Do not use beyond the expiry date.

  • If symptoms of diarrhea persist beyond 2-3 days or worsen, medical consultation is necessary.

  • For infants, elderly patients, or immunocompromised individuals, use under medical supervision.

When not to use?

  • Known hypersensitivity or allergy to Bacillus clausii or any component of the formulation.

  • Critically ill or immunocompromised patients without medical supervision.

  • Presence of severe underlying gastrointestinal pathology without prior doctor consultation.

Warnings

  • Not a substitute for rehydration therapy in diarrhea; continue oral rehydration salts (ORS) if needed.

  • Avoid using with hot liquids, alcohol, or carbonated drinks.

  • Keep out of reach of children.

  • Consult a doctor if diarrhea contains blood or is accompanied by high fever.

Dosage

  • Adults: 1 vial (5 ml), 2–3 times daily.

  • Children: 1 vial (5 ml), 1–2 times daily.

  • Infants: 1 vial (5 ml), once daily or as prescribed by a physician.

Shake well before each use.

Interactions

  • No significant drug interactions reported.

  • Can be safely used alongside most antibiotics (preferably with at least a 2-3 hour gap between antibiotic and probiotic administration).

  • Avoid mixing with alcohol or hot beverages.

General Instructions

  • Shake the bottle before use.

  • Consume the entire contents of the vial.

  • Complete the full course as recommended, even if symptoms improve earlier.

  • Store at room temperature; avoid exposure to direct sunlight and moisture.
