Summary
CEFPODOXIME 50 MG ORAL SUSPENSION is used to treat a broad variety of bacterial infections. It is also known as a cephalosporin antibiotic that works by stopping the growth of bacteria. But it won’t work for viral infections such as the common cold, flu, etc. The medication is very effective in infections of the lungs, urinary tract, nasal sinus, ear, throat, and skin. CEFPODOXIME 50 MG ORAL SUSPENSION should be taken with food and regularly at evenly spaced intervals or as per the schedule prescribed by your doctor.
Moreover, you shouldn’t take it early as some bacteria may survive and the infection might come back. And as the medicine is most effective so offers some side effects such as rash, nausea, and diarrhea. Further, to avoid stomach upset, take the medicine along with some food. Or if you find these side-effects bother or worry you then must consult your doctor. Furthermore, if you are allergic to any antibiotics or have any history of kidney or liver problems then must use the medication with some extreme precaution. Further, the medication can make your vision blur or make you feel sleepy or dizzy so don’t drive or operate any heavy machinery while consuming CEFPODOXIME 50 MG ORAL SUSPENSION.
