CLOELITE-MF is a suspension formulation combining Mefenamic Acid and Paracetamol. Mefenamic acid is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that helps reduce inflammation, pain, and fever, while Paracetamol (also known as acetaminophen) acts as an analgesic and antipyretic. This combination is commonly used to manage mild to moderate pain and reduce fever. It is effective for conditions such as menstrual cramps, muscle pain, dental pain, and headaches, providing both pain relief and fever reduction.

Like all medications, CLOELITE-MF may cause some side effects. Most people tolerate the drug well, but some common and serious side effects include:

• Common Side Effects:
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Stomach pain or discomfort
  • Dizziness or lightheadedness
  • Indigestion or heartburn
  • Drowsiness
• Serious Side Effects (requires medical attention):
  • Allergic reactions (rash, swelling, difficulty breathing)
  • Liver dysfunction (yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine)
  • Kidney problems (reduced urine output, swelling in legs or feet)
  • Severe stomach bleeding (black or tarry stools, vomiting blood)

If you experience any of these serious side effects, seek immediate medical attention.

• CLOELITE-MF should be taken as per the prescribed dosage by a healthcare provider.
• It can be taken with or without food. However, taking it with food can help reduce stomach upset.
• Shake the suspension well before use to ensure even distribution of the medication.

• Gastrointestinal Issues: Mefenamic Acid, being an NSAID, may irritate the stomach and lead to ulcers, bleeding, or perforation, especially with prolonged use.
• Liver and Kidney Health: Both Mefenamic Acid and Paracetamol are processed through the liver and kidneys. If you have pre-existing liver or kidney issues, consult your doctor before use.
• Allergic Reactions: Those with a history of allergies to NSAIDs, Paracetamol, or any component of CLOELITE-MF should avoid using the product.

Do not use CLOELITE-MF under the following conditions:

• Allergic Reactions: If you are allergic to Mefenamic Acid, Paracetamol, or any of the ingredients in the suspension.
• Active Peptic Ulcer or GI Bleeding: If you have a history of peptic ulcers or gastrointestinal bleeding, avoid using this product.
• Severe Liver or Kidney Dysfunction: Those with serious liver or kidney problems should not use this medication.
• Pregnancy and Lactation: Consult a doctor before using during pregnancy or while breastfeeding, especially in the later stages of pregnancy.

• Pregnancy: Avoid using CLOELITE-MF in the third trimester of pregnancy, as it may affect the fetus. Consult a doctor before using it during pregnancy.
• Breastfeeding: Small amounts of Paracetamol and Mefenamic Acid may pass into breast milk. Consult a healthcare provider before use.
• Alcohol Consumption: Excessive alcohol consumption can increase the risk of liver damage when taking Paracetamol. Limit alcohol intake.
• Long-term Use: Prolonged use may increase the risk of kidney damage, gastrointestinal issues, and other complications.

• Adults: Typically, 10-15 mL of CLOELITE-MF every 6-8 hours as needed. The maximum dosage should not exceed 60 mL per day.
• Children (6-12 years): 5-10 mL every 6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 40 mL per day.
• Infants and Children under 6 years: CLOELITE-MF is not recommended for children under 6 years unless prescribed by a doctor.

Always follow the prescribed dosage or consult your doctor for adjustments based on individual needs.

• Anticoagulants (e.g., Warfarin): CLOELITE-MF may increase the risk of bleeding. Monitor closely if using together.
• Other NSAIDs: Avoid combining with other NSAIDs, as it can increase the risk of gastrointestinal issues and bleeding.
• Antihypertensive Drugs: CLOELITE-MF may reduce the effectiveness of blood pressure medications.
• Diuretics: Use of CLOELITE-MF with diuretics may increase the risk of kidney problems.

Always inform your doctor about other medications you are taking, including over-the-counter drugs, to avoid harmful interactions.

• Storage: Store CLOELITE-MF in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep it out of the reach of children.
• Do not exceed recommended dosage: Taking more than the prescribed dose may lead to serious side effects such as liver or kidney damage.
